May is wrapping up, and June is just around the corner—let’s bloom and soar into summer!

Hello & Welcome!

I can’t believe we’re already approaching Memorial Day Weekend—the unofficial kickoff to summer—and let me tell you, I love all things summer.
But before we jump into the season of sun, bonfires, and golf, I wanted to share a quick recap from the beginning of May when I was lucky enough to sneak away for a much-needed vacation to Curaçao. The island was absolutely stunning—some of the clearest, most beautiful water I’ve ever seen. We explored the town, soaked in the vibrant artwork, and let ourselves unplug.

A few takeaways from this trip?

  1. I’m officially getting older—ha!

  2. While resort life is super convenient (especially with a big group), I’ve learned I’m more of an Airbnb kind of girl. There’s something I really love about making your own meals, crafting your own drinks, and just enjoying quiet, low-key time in the sun with your favorite people.

  3. I’m so glad I traveled with just a carry-on—vacuum bags are my best friend! That said… I still packed more than I needed. 😅

But the biggest lesson? You have to truly step away from business—and your phone—to actually rest. I used to worry that being unavailable might upset clients or slow things down, but this time I prepped everyone before I left, handed off active files to my team, and let go—and everything went beautifully. Most of my clients even responded with, “You deserve it—don’t worry about us.” And that meant the world. Huge shoutout to my team, too. We’ve worked hard to build a business and a system that doesn’t fall apart when someone takes time off—and I’m incredibly thankful for that.

So here’s your nudge: If you’re feeling stretched thin or on the verge of burnout—take the break.
Your body, your family, and your friends will thank you. And I promise,
the show will go on.

With gratitude,

📚 This Month’s Book Recommendation:

The 5 Second Rule: Transform your Life, Work, and Confidence with Everyday Courage

Ever feel like you know what you need to do... but you just don’t do it? Yep, me too. That’s where The 5 Second Rule comes in. Mel Robbins gives us a ridiculously simple but incredibly effective tool to stop overthinking and start doing: count backwards 5-4-3-2-1 and go.

It’s wild how much more we could accomplish if we just got out of our own way. Whether it’s getting up to work out, making that call you’ve been avoiding, walking into the networking event solo, or just speaking up when it matters, this rule helps you act before self-doubt sets in.

Feeling stuck? Try it next time. Seriously—set the alarm, countdown, and move. That one tiny shift could change everything.

🌿 Spring 2025 Interior Design Trends

This season is all about bold personality, natural materials, and cozy functionality. Think rich jewel tones, playful patterns, and a strong connection to nature.

Here’s what’s trending:

Natural Materials – From “material drenching” (using one material throughout a room) to colorful natural stones like green marble and quartzite, expect wood, stone, and texture to take center stage.

🎨 Bold Colors & Patterns – Color-drenched spaces, retro-inspired pieces, and unexpected pattern mixing will bring rooms to life with energy and charm.

🌱 Nature-Inspired Design – Biophilic elements, earth tones, and oversized botanical art will create calming, grounded environments.

🏡 Cozy & Functional Spaces – Think reading nooks, statement rugs, indoor swings, and home offices designed for comfort and retreat.

On a personal note, I’m planning to add a black snakeskin wallpaper accent wall in our primary bedroom for a bold and moody twist. Can’t wait to see how it transforms the space!

☀️ Summer Survival Tip: On-the-Go Fuel

The summer months always seem to have me on the run—appointments, showings, meetings—you name it. And let’s be honest… lunch doesn’t always happen.

One thing that’s helped me stay on track is keeping a small cooler in my car with water and a few protein-packed snacks to get me through the day.

Here are my top 5 go-to grab-and-go snacks:

  1. 🧀 String cheese

  2. 🥚 Hard-boiled egg (peeled ahead of time)

  3. 🥜 A handful of almonds

  4. 🍗 Sliced turkey roll-ups

  5. 🍎 Apple slices with peanut butter packets

Nothing fancy—just quick, easy, and energizing. Don’t forget to fuel yourself so you can crush your day!
