February 2026

January felt like space.

February has felt like movement.

As we move further into 2026 — the Year of the Fire Horse — the energy shifts. The Fire Horse symbolizes boldness, independence, passion, and forward motion. It doesn’t wait for perfect conditions. It moves with courage.

But if I’m being honest, the last year wasn’t all bold energy for me.

There were pockets of unexpected social anxiety. Subtle isolation. Saying no more often. Staying in felt easier. I didn’t fully realize how much I had quietly pulled back.

Then came a quick trip to Arizona.

We traded subzero temps for sunshine, hiking trails, good food, great conversations, and a few days surrounded by incredible people. We met new friends. We laughed — really laughed. We challenged each other.

It was short.

But it was exactly what my soul needed.

That trip reminded me how much energy comes from being around the right people. How important proximity is. How healing sunshine and conversation can be. It wasn’t dramatic. It was subtle. But something shifted.

When I came home, I decided not to retreat again.

I went to a yoga class by myself. No safety net. Just showed up.

And then this week, I ran into several people I genuinely care about during meetings and around town. Big hugs. Real laughter. Conversations that filled my cup more than I expected.

And it hit me:

Connection really does matter more than we think.

The Fire Horse energy isn’t just about bold business moves or ambition. It’s about courage, including the courage to step back into rooms, to show up socially, to re-engage when it would be easier not to.

For me, February felt like this:

• Choosing movement over retreat
• Showing up even when it feels slightly uncomfortable
• Protecting meaningful relationships
• Leaning into rooms that stretch me
• Letting connection fuel momentum

If January was about creating space, February was about stepping into therightspaces.

A Gentle Reflection for You ✍🏼

Have you been isolating in ways you didn’t fully notice?

Who energizes you when you’re around them?

Where might you need to show up — even if it feels slightly uncomfortable?

Sometimes the shift we need isn’t more productivity.

Sometimes it’s sunshine, laughter, and the right people reminding us who we are.

With love,

This Month's Book Recommendation

The Miracle Morning (Updated & Expanded Edition)
by Hal Elrod

If you’ve ever said, “I just need more time…”— this book will challenge that thought in the best way.

In this updated and expanded edition, Hal Elrod breaks down a simple but powerful framework called SAVERS:

  • Silence

  • Affirmations

  • Visualization

  • Exercise

  • Reading

  • Scribing

It’s not about becoming a morning person overnight. It’s about being intentional with the first hour of your day so you lead your life instead of reacting to it. For me, my 5AM routine has become a non-negotiable.

That first hour is where I:
✔️ Get my workout in
✔️ Practice gratitude
✔️ Speak affirmations
✔️ Spend a few quiet minutes on my Shakti mat

Before the calls, negotiations, emails, and responsibilities begin — I’ve already grounded myself.

That one hour impacts how I show up for my family, my clients, my team, and my community.

February can feel like the “in-between” month — the excitement of January fades, and spring still feels far away. Maybe this is the reminder that you don’t need a new year to reset… you just need a new morning.

💭 What would change if you owned the first hour of your day?
