April 2025 Newsletter

April is here, and May is on the way—let’s thrive and shine! 🌷✨
Hello & Welcome!
Isn’t it wild how a little fear can sneak up on you—especially when you’re 30,000 feet in the air? This year alone, I’ve racked up miles for work and play, from wandering the colorful streets of Mexico to pizza in NYC, seafood in Baltimore, and the jazz-filled nights of New Orleans. If you caught my recent Facebook post, you know I almost let every crash, curveball, and last-minute hiccup keep me grounded. But I decided fear wouldn’t have the final say—and I’m so glad I didn’t! Along the way, I met incredible people, discovered hidden gems, and collected stories that remind me: the best adventures happen when you choose courage over comfort.
Travel doesn’t have to be intimidating. Here are a few of my go-to hacks to keep you moving—no matter where your wanderlust takes you:
TSA PreCheck: Just $85 for five years—and you’ll zip straight through security like a VIP.
Pack Smart: I live out of a carry-on. If you must check a bag, stash your swimsuit, a change of clothes, and toiletries in your carry-on —just in case.
Get Your REAL ID: Required to board domestic flights after May 7, 2025. Skip the headaches at check-in by making this simple upgrade now.
Invest in Good Luggage: Four wheels that spin 360° are a total game‑changer for tight airport corners.
Comfortable Shoes: Swap them for heels or loafers after you land, but trust me—runway sneakers are your best friend.
Stay Hydrated: Airplane air is desert‑dry—keep a water bottle handy so you feel energized, not exhausted.
Here’s to chasing sunsets, conquering doubts, and filling your passport with stories you’ll tell forever!
With gratitude,

📚 This Month’s Book Recommendation:
Unleash the Power Within: Personal Coaching to Transform Your Life!
I’ll be honest—I was hesitant to pick up a Tony Robbins book. Sometimes his stuff gives off a cult-like vibe, and I wasn’t sure if it was for me. But here’s the thing: you never know until you try, and if it doesn’t resonate, you can always move on.
Of course, just a chapter in, one of his lines hit me hard: Replacing I "should" with I "must"
That one sentence shifted my perspective and reminded me that sometimes, the messages we need come from unexpected places. So here’s your sign to try that book, podcast, or class you’ve been putting off. You never know what might stick.
What’s a book or idea that surprised you in the best way? Let me know - I am always looking to add to my list!
This book isn't just about inspiration—it’s packed with actionable tools to help you master your emotions, improve your relationships, build unstoppable confidence, and make lasting change. Whether you're navigating a transition, chasing a big goal, or simply ready for a mental reset, Robbins guides you through the process of taking control of your life, one empowering decision at a time.

We’ve officially entered Q2—April through June—and it’s the perfect moment to pause, take stock, and make sure we’re still on track for the year we envisioned. Maybe your goals have shifted, life threw you a curveball, or you simply discovered new passions—whatever the reason, it’s absolutely okay to pivot. Use this springtime energy to realign your priorities, tweak your action plan, and recommit to what matters most. Remember: progress isn’t always linear, and every adjustment you make brings you closer to the success and fulfillment you deserve.
Glass Over Plastic: A Healthier Kitchen Habit
As part of my ongoing quest for healthier eating, I recently made a simple yet transformative swap: I ditched all my plastic Tupperware and now pack lunches, leftovers, and meal‑prep batches in two sturdy glass containers that travel beautifully and keep everything fresh.

Super‑Healthy Chicken Waldorf Salad Recipe (no mayo)
On Sundays, I whip up a big batch of my favorite super‑healthy Waldorf salad—crisp apples, crunchy celery, sweet grapes, and walnuts all coated in a light yogurt‑lemon dressing—to fuel my week with both nutrition and flavor. Having these ready‑to‑grab glass containers in the fridge has made it so easy to stick to good habits, reduce waste, and enjoy a fulfilling lunch while on the go.
Ingredients
3 large chicken breasts
1 tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
¾ cup of chopped walnuts
2 stalks of celery, small diced
1 large apple, small diced
1 cup of green or red grapes, halved
Dressing
1 cup of plain Greek yogurt
2 tbsp honey
1 lemon, zest and juice
1 tsp salt
Instructions
Make the chicken: Preheat the oven to 400. Add a drizzle of avocado oil to your chicken breasts and season with salt and pepper. Heat in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add a drizzle of oil once the pan is simmering, cook undisturbed for 4 mins. Each side. Transfer to the oven and roast for 9 minutes. Remove and let cool before cutting/shredding. (Easiest way to shred is with an electric mixer.)
Prep the dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, honey, lemon juice/zest, and salt until smooth.
Combine the salad: In a large bowl, toss chicken, apples, grapes, celery, and walnuts.
Dress and chill: Pour the dressing over the salad and gently stir until everything is evenly coated.
Portion out: Divide the salad between your glass containers, seal tightly, and refrigerate. It will stay crisp and delicious for up to 4 days—perfect for grab‑and‑go lunches or a quick side with dinner!
